An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

In Hollywood with Potash and Perlmutter, the 1924 Alfred E. Green silent Hollywood California romantic movie making acting comedy sequel (the Jewish men who were tailors in the earlier movies go to Hollywood and produce a movie, but the man who gives them financing insists they star his mistress, who proceeds to romance both Potash and Perlmutter, upsetting their wives, but all works out in the end!) starring Alexander Carr (in the title role as Morris Perlmutter), George Sidney (in the title role as Abe Potash), Vera Gordon, Betty Blythe, Belle Bennett, Norma Talmadge, and Constance Talmadge (Norma and Constance Talmadge appear in cameo roles playing themselves!). Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that a review of this movie indicates that Norma Talmadge and her sister Constance both have cameo roles in this movie as girls at a Hollywood audition who are trying to play "vamps". Given that this card has a caption that reads "I'll teach you to go vamping with a vamp.", it would seem quite possible that the girl on the card is Norma Talmadge (and she bears a strong resemblance to the young Norma Talmadge). If anyone knows for certain either way, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes in the corners, pencil writing in the top right blank corner, and slight darkening around the edges. There is a tape repair on the back of the bottom left blank corner. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition.
