Date Sold 9/4/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Tiger's Cub, the 1920 Charles Giblyn Alaska adventure crime melodrama ("from the Great Stage Success by George Goodchild") starring Pearl White (in the title role as Tiger's Cub), Thomas Carrigan, Jack Baston, John Davidson, and Frank Evans. Note that Pearl White is of course the most famous female silent serial star, but after many injuries from her roles, she decided that she wanted to quit serials, and she turned to "serious acting", but she became addicted to painkillers and alcohol after she was injured on the set of The Perils of Pauline. She retired in 1924 and passed away in 1938, when she was just 49. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: We don't know what's going on in this movie, but it seems like this must be near the climax of the movie, because there is a man showing a gun to Pearl White by another man looking sick in a bed, and there is a woman clutching a baby with many onlookers! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes in the corners and smudges around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
