A 1967 Re-Release Autographed Movie Herald (measures 6" x 9" [15 x 23 cm]) (Learn More)

Rand Brooks was an actor from the 1930s to the 1960s. He was one of Hopalong Cassidy's two sidekicks (he played "Lucky" Jenkins). Some of his other movies include: Gone With the Wind (as Charles Hamilton), The Son of Monte Cristo, and Niagara Falls. In 1964, he wrote and directed "Legend of the Northwest", and he invested all his money in it, and the movie was not released, and he was ruined financially (and it ended his first marriage). That finished him with Hollywood, but the following year, he started a private ambulance service, which became massively successful! Legend of the Northwest was eventually released in 1978. Mr. Brooks passed away in 2003 at the age of 84.
Artist: Howard Terpning
Important Added Info: Note that this 1967 re-release herald has been personally autographed (signed) by Rand Brooks! It comes together with a REPRODUCTION 8" x 10" photo of Mr. Brooks. Our consignor obtained this autograph through the mail in correspondence with Mr. Brooks. While he doesn't have a "certificate of authenticity", we are certain it is authentic!

As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.

Condition: good to very good.
