Walter Ruben romantic big business melodrama ("From the play by John Howard Lawson, as produced by the Group Theatre, Inc."; an indictment of capitalism, about a ruthless businessman who stops at nothing to make more and more money, but he learns the error of his ways by the movie's end) starring Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Genevieve Tobin, Frank Morgan, Colleen Moore, Edward Everett Horton, and Nydia Westman. Note that this movie was written by John Howard Lawson, one of the "Hollywood Ten", who were blacklisted during the McCarthy hearings, both for refusing to "name names" and for writing movies exactly like this one!
