An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Unknown Guest, the 1943 Kurt Neumann fantasy crime mystery thriller (about a spooky hunting lodge, where the two men who own it disappear, and a strange man turns up who takes their place) starring Victor Jory, Pamela Blake, Veda Ann Borg, Paul Fix, Nora Cecil, and Frank Faylen. Note that there is a real oddity about this movie. It was made by Monogram Pictures in 1943, and the movie paper we have auctioned from that first release has a 1943 NSS number on it, EXCEPT for the one-sheets, which have no NSS at all. Normally, we would think those were re-releases, but there was a 1949 re-release of this movie, and we have auctioned a one-sheet that DOES have a 1949 NSS number on it, so that makes us think that the NSS number was simply accidentally "left off" of the 1943 one-sheets. There are pinholes in the center of the top and bottom borders and some smudges around the edges.
