An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Danish Movie Poster (measures 24 1/2" x 33 1/4" [62 x 84 cm]) (Learn More)

the 1950s Danish double-bill of Blades of the Musketeers (released outside the U.S. as "The Three Musketeers"), the 1950 Budd Boetticher made-for-TV swashbuckling action adventure thriller ("Their famous cry rings through tyranny-ridden France... ONE FOR ALL... and ALL FOR ONE!"; "The newest screen version of the unforgettable Alexander Dumas classic!"; produced by Hal Roach) starring Robert Clarke, John Hubbard, Mel Archer, Keith Richards, and Marjorie Lord. Note that this 1950 made-for-TV movie was given a theatrical release in 1953. It seems certain that there would be no earlier movie posters for this movie than the ones from 1953, so they are not re-releases in the usual sense, as this was from the first theatrical release. It also seems likely this movie received its theatrical release because of the rise in prominence of director Budd Boetticher at the time. AND Oliver the Eighth, the 1934 Lloyd French romantic screwball murder comedy short (a wacky parody of Henry VIII, with Stan and Ollie courting a rich widow, and she agrees to marry Ollie, but her butler tells them that she is crazy and she keeps marrying men named Oliver, and then killing them, and that Ollie will be her eighth victim!) starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Mae Busch, and Jack Barty. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
