Date Sold 6/30/2019Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. A Folded French Advertising Poster (measures 61 3/4" x 90 3/4" [157 x 231 cm]) (Learn More) Banania is a popular chocolate drink which was first produced in Paris in 1912 by Pierre Lardet. It is most widely distributed in France and is made from cocoa, banana flour, cereals, honey and sugar. The slogan of the product is Y'a bon ("It's good"). If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this advertising poster was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Note that this poster must be sent in a tube that is over 32" long (which is why it is in this set of auctions). You can tell how long the tube will need to be by adding 2 inches to the shorter dimension of the length or width (so 40x60s need to be sent in a 42 inch long tube, etc). Most of these posters (with the notable exception of paper banners) CAN be combined in the same tube together, with a few exceptions. Bear in mind that a very long tube (42 inches or longer) will cost a lot more to send than a 30" tube, so bear that in mind before bidding on this poster. Condition: good to very good. There are some pinholes around the edges of the poster and it has some fold and border wear. There is a 4" tear at left in the edge of that fold (see our image). It is otherwise in generally nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
