He is also well remembered for his many movies, including: the 1919 version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the 1920 version of Sherlock Holmes, Twentieth Century, Counselor at Law, Dinner at Eight, and Grand Hotel. He was nicknamed "The Great Profile". His brother Lionel, and his sister Ethel, were also extremely accomplished stage and movie actors, and they appeared in a single movie together, Rasputin and the Empress. He had a tumultuous private life, and fought alcoholism, and was married four times. He is the father of John Drew Barrymore, and the grandfather of Drew Barrymore. He passed away in 1942 at the age of 60. Important Added Info: Note that these stills all feature a specific actor or actress (sometimes portraits, but often in a scene from a movie that they were in). They come from the collection of Ken Jones, who was an author of many books about old-time actors, including many character actors. He collected on all the stars that he enjoyed, and this is a rare opportunity to get a number of stills at one time from this specific star! Condition: good to very good.
