An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Japanese "B0" Movie Poster (38x62; measures approximately 38" x 62")

Il Deserto Rosso (released in the U.S. in 1965 as "Red Desert"), the classic 1964 Michelangelo Antonioni Italian family dysfunctional relationship mental illness melodrama ("Michelangelo Antonioni in his first color film.") starring Monica Vitti, Richard Harris ("[star of 'This Sporting Life']"), Carlo Chionetti (billed as "Carlo De Pra"), Rita Renoir, Xenia Valderi, and Aldo Grotti. Note that this is what's known as a "difficult" movie! It is slow moving with lots of talking and little action of any kind. But, on repeated viewings, it often grows on the viewer until they often consider it to be a masterpiece! Other movies like this include "The Passion of Joan of Arc", "Last Year at Marienbad" and several others. If you like the movies like this you have seen you should definitely also watch this one!

Important Added Info: Note that this poster is printed on a single sheet and measures 38" x 62", and it measures quite differently from Japanese two-panel posters, which are exactly twice the size of a Japanese "B2", and which we refer to as "Japanese two-panel posters". We do not know if there is an official Japanese term for this size poster (which sometimes varies slightly from the measurements of this poster, and which sometimes can be found in one section or in two sections), but if someone e-mails us further information about this size, we will post it here. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. The poster was folded once vertically and 11 times horizontally (at uneven intervals). Two of the horizontal folds are at a slight diagonal. There is surface paper loss in the writing area at top center and there are tears and tiny areas of paper loss in small parts of the vertical foldline. The left and right 1" of the poster was folded back at one time and there are some tiny pinholes around the edges of the poster and some small tears in the borders. It is true that the poster has many relatively minor defects, but it is also true that after proper restoration by a talented professional, the poster will look fantastic!
