An Unfolded Music Concert Poster (measures 14" x 20" [36 x 51 cm]) (Learn More) The Chambers Bros, the 1967 Neon Rose rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) music poster promoting a concert featuring The Chambers Bros which took place at The Matrix in San Francisco, California from March 28th to the 30th. Note that this poster features wild art by Victor Moscoso. Moscoso had made a deal with the owners of The Matrix (the San Francisco rock club where major bands like The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, and more played) where he gave them 200 free posters for each show if he could print as many others as he could afford, and sell them. They agreed and the Neon Rose poster series was created. Moscoso was the first of San Francisco's "Big Five" psychedelic poster artists to have his posters shown in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
