An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Czechoslovakian Movie Poster (measures 11 1/2" x 15" [29 x 38 cm]) (Learn More) Zuzanciny Pohadky, the 1960s Czechoslovakian collection of German/Czechoslovakian/Polish/Russian shorts featuring "Telovychova a sport" directed by Frantisek Papousek, "Dve Klubicka" directed by Hermina Tyrlova, "Deti a Ptacci" directed by Vojtech Kolic, "Bily Misa" directed by Lenchoslaw Marszalek, "Zuzanka se uci psat" directed by Vladimir Lehky, and "Masenka a Medved" directed by Roman Kachanov. Note that Roman Abelevich Kachanov was a Soviet animator who worked primarily in the stop-motion animation technique. He was born in the town of Smolensk in 1921 and joined the Red Army in 1939. He was a tail gunner before being injured in a crash, and after he recovered, he served in the airborne forces as a parachute instructor and took part in special operations behind enemy lines. After he left the military, Kachanov studied animation and went on to direct The Mitten, Crocodile Gena and The Mystery of the Third Planet, all of which have become Russian classics Artist: Vladimir Lehky Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this partially Czech movie!
