eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 6c681 KEYSTONE HOTEL LC '35 cross-eyed beauty contest judge Ben Turpin given giant hotel key, rare Date Sold 4/20/2017Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Keystone Hotel, the 1935 Ralph Staub Keystone Cops beauty pageant slapstick comedy short ("Vitaphone Comedy") (about a cross-eyed judge of a beauty contest at a hotel, and because he can't see straight, he gives the first prize to an elderly cleaning lady, which causes the audience to throw pies at him, but fortunately, the Keystone Kops show up to set things right). starring Ford Sterling, Ben Turpin, Chester Conklin, Marie Prevost, Hank Mann, and Vivien Oakland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There are light stains in the lower left and lower right, with some other stains and smudges around the edges and scattered around the edges of the image. This is the sort of card that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the smudges and stains can be removed through chemical means, after which the card will look fantastic (although I think most collectors could happily display this great card on their wall just as it is). Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
