An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Back Stage, the 1919 Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle silent vaudeville stage acting comedy short (based on the story by Jean C. Havez) starring Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle (billed as "'Fatty' Arbuckle"), Buster Keaton, Al St. John, Charles A. Post, Molly Malone, Jack Coogan Sr., and William Collier Jr. (uncredited in his second movie role!). Note that Buster Keaton was second billed in this movie, but because Fatty Arbuckle was SUCH a major star at this time, only Arbuckle was pictured or billed on the movie advertising! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1919 movie paper from this Buster Keaton/Fatty Arbuckle movie is incredibly rare. We have never previously auctioned anything from this movie until we received this still, which has a wonderful image of Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle and Buster Keaton! Also note that there are white areas in the corners that look like they COULD be a defect of some sort, but they are NOT. They exist on stills from silent films that have this sort of black border around the edges. It appears that stills of this sort were made by actually blowing up a frame of film, and perhaps those white areas are some sort of sprocket holes. In any event, they are contained within the printing and are not any sort of defect! Condition: very good. There are creases around the edges, with tiny paper loss in the right corners and some tiny bits of surface paper loss in the right border (see our images). Learn More about condition grades
