An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More)

The Fighters (also released as "The Fight" and as "Ali the Man: Ali the Fighter"), the 1974 Rick Baxter biographical boxing sports documentary ("Ali Ali Ali"; "The incredible Muhammad Ali you've never seen before!"; "Ali! The poet, the clown, the folk hero, the People's Champion, Ali! The man behind the myth!"; "Ali! Winning, losing, then winning, and winning. From Liston to Frazier to Foreman... Ali! The big mouth with the big punch!") featuring Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Richie Havens and Burt Lancaster. This is a very confusing movie! It was first released in 1974, but was it then called "The Fighters" or "The Fight"? And was it released theatrically under either of those titles? We know for certain that it was released theatrically as part of a double bill under the title "Ali the Man: Ali the Fighter" (because the advertising for that release says "A Two Film Package"), but what was the second film on that double bill? And was that double bill in 1974 or at a later date (likely from later in the 1970s)? We are listing the "Ali the Man: Ali the Fighter" movie paper items we have been consigned under the title "The Fighters", because we can't find much of any information about the double bill release, but we would very much love to learn more about all this, and also why movie paper from any of the releases is incredibly rare!
