Ross Lederman German Shepherd canine dog romantic melodrama ("Adapted from the story by Harvey Gates"; about a young woman who lives with her grandfather, and she finds a dog that wanders in from the desert, and she adopts him, and when he grandfather is kidnapped, the dog helps find him, but her boyfriend, who went with the dog, is attacked by a vicious dog, and Rin-Tin-Tin is mistaken for the vicious dog, and is almost put to death, but the grandfather saves the dog!) starring Rin Tin Tin (in the title role as Rinty; most famous of the movie dog stars, he was Warner Bros.' #1 star in their early lean years and the earnings from his movies kept the studio in the black!), Audrey Ferris, Carrol Nye, Paul Panzer, and Otto Hoffman. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that I have sold many lobby cards from silent Rin Tin Tin movies, and I have noticed that, in most cases, Rin Tin Tin does not appear in the photographic images of the scene cards (perhaps this was because it was hard to get him to pose for photos!). This is a rare scene card that DOES show Rin Tin Tin in the central image! Condition: very good. There are pinholes in the corners and some faint smudges around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
