If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had a 1" tear in the top left blue background area, and someone had put a piece of tape on the back of that area that bled through to the front in the bottom of the blue background. It had a similar tear in the top right corner, with some paper loss in the bottom of the "S" of "PERKINS" and someone had put tape on the back of that area, which also bled through. It also had tears in a small circle at the bottom crossfold. It had a 3" horizontal tear near the center of the image, entering into Leigh's bra, and that, too, had tape on the back that bled through to the front. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. Someone backed the poster without performing restoration to the above defects, and they are quite noticeable, especially when you start looking at the poster. A restorer could certainly perform additional restoration to those areas, either with or without re-backing the poster, but bear these significant defects in mind and look at our super-sized image before bidding on this poster.
