An Original Vintage Autographed 5" x 7" [13 x 18 cm] Fan Photo (Learn More)

Marsha Hunt was a a model, singer, and actress from the 1930s to 2022. She started out as a teenage John Powers fashion model, she began singing as well, and she went to Hollywood in 1935, when she was 18 years old, and was signed with Paramount, but never became a top star, playing secondary roles in major movies and starring in secondary movies. She made 54 films through 1949, but in the 1950s, she and her husband Robert Presnell Jr. were caught up in the Blacklist (for her strong support of freedom of speech, and not for any communist activity), and that pretty much ended her film career. She made occasional appearances, and was in a movie in 2008 at the age of 91! She passed away in 2022 at the age of 104.
Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Marsha Hunt! Note that our consignor runs a memorabilia store, and the granddaughter of Mabel Young, who was a Paramount and MGM make-up artist in the 1930s and 1940s, sold him a collection of signed deluxe stills that her grandmother had acquired from MGM and Paramount stars when she worked at those studios. He has no certificate of authenticity, but we feel certain these signatures are authentic, and that the photos are original to the 1930s and 1940s (and since the woman who obtained the signatures worked at the studio, it makes it all that more certain that the stars actually signed them, and many of them are personalized "To Mabel").

Condition: very good to fine.
