An Original Vintage Movie Magazine Ad (measures 11" x 24" [28 x 61 cm]) (Learn More) The Deep, the 1977 Peter Yates underwater scuba diving mystery adventure horror thriller ("Is anything worth the terror of... 'The Deep'"; "Based on the novel by Peter Benchley") starring Robert Shaw, Jacqueline Bisset (who stole the movie in her wet white t-shirt!), Nick Nolte, Louis Gossett Jr. (billed as "Louis Gossett"), and Eli Wallach. Unfortunately, Jacqueline Bisset had no idea that Peter Yates would be filming her in her see-through shirt, and it was only when the movie was released that she learned of it. Artist: Gary Meyer Important Added Info: Note that this ad was removed from an issue of Playboy magazine that was printed when this movie first came out (it was a special 3-page "fold-out" ad that caused a lot of talk at the time!). There is printing on the reverse side of the ad, but we don't picture it, because it is surely of little interest. But this ad can be matted or framed for little money and makes a great inexpensive display! Also note that this item contains a woman in see-through clothing, so we have placed a white bar over those areas, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have those white bars! Condition: good to very good. Two of the pages were a fold-out printed on a single sheet. The third page was on the facing page. So the person removed those pages from the magazine and then joined the top third to the bottom two-thirds, with clear tape on the back of that area, and they also put a small piece of clear tape on the back of that area (see our image).
