He knows it is a later printing, but he does not know how much later (he guesses the 1970s). Our consignor does not know how it was distributed or possibly sold. It is a real silver gelatin print, but beyond what we have written, we know nothing about this. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept these uncertainties, because we make no guarantee beyond what we have written above. We are also auctioning (in a separate auction) a similar poster of The Rolling Stones, also made from a 1963 Trevor Clark photo, but printed later.
UPDATED 05/04/2018: Note that we originally listed this item as a commercial poster but it is actually a silver gelatin print! Also, note that this item will be sent in very wide tube measuring approximately 52". Condition: very good. The poster has a few creases and very minor edge defects and a few light creases scattered in various areas, but overall the image is in nice condition and it displays quite well!
