An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Canvas Banner (measures 35 3/4" x 119") (Learn More) Paramount Week, the 1921 poster ("It's here again!"; "Sept 4th - 10th") advertising a Paramount studios promotion. Note that many theaters at this time only showed the product of one or two studios, so the studios would offer these kinds of incentives to the theaters to try to get them to book only their product during a single week. Note that this event began in 1918, and we know that it continued through 1939 at least (we have seen ones from several different events, including the first one, the one from 1939, and several from in between those dates)! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fine. There is some darkening along some of the foldlines (the poster was stored folded for many years), but otherwise, the poster is in really nice condition and it is pretty hard to believe that it is over 65 years old! This week we have given a more detailed overall condition grade along with more details about the condition described in words. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, plus there are some defects (like creasing, tape on the back, extremely tiny pinholes, etc) which can be VERY difficult to see, even in our largest "super-sized" image. Therefore we strongly recommend that you BOTH read our written description of the item, AND ALSO look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
