This movie is very notable for having been produced, partially written, and perhaps partially directed by Dorothy Davenport. Note that this movie was given a truly massive release (apparently, the producers thought that audiences everywhere would flock to a movie on such a sordid subject), and I have seen the pressbook, and every poster has a wonderful completely different image from all the rest, and there were two completely different sets of lobby cards created, one a regular looking one, and the other printed on a metallic gold stock, which was labeled "SET A" in the bottom right corner. Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that normally we always photograph the title card in the top left of our image, but in this case we made a mistake, and it is photographed in the right column, second from top (you can tell it is the title card because it has the full credits on the left, which none of the scene cards have). Also note that seven of these cards have "SET A" printed in the bottom right corner, but one card has "SET B" in that area. However, we believe this was simply a typo, because we have seen these gold cards which are marked "SET A" and then a separate set of "regular" cards, which we believe to be the other set. Condition: very good. The cards are printed on a metallic gold paper which scuffs easily. All of the cards have pinholes in the corners and some have varying amounts of scuffs scattered throughout. They mostly range between "good to very good" and "very good" (see our images). Learn More about condition grades
