An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style B Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Saddle the Wind, the 1957 Robert Parrish cowboy western ("Brothers With Guns Who... 'Saddle the Wind'"; "Screen Play by Rod Serling"; "Screen story by Thomas Thompson") starring Robert Taylor, Julie London, John Cassavetes, Donald Crisp, and Charles McGraw NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was machine folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time. If being stored flat has caused the folds to diminish, then this poster will be sent rolled in a tube. But if being stored flat has NOT caused the folds to diminish at all, then we will re-fold the poster, and mail it in a flat package. Please be assured that we are solely looking to pack these posters in the safest possible way! If you purchase both unfolded posters and posters that CAN be re-folded, we will rule them all together into a single tube. Condition: good. Note there are brown paper tape repairs on the back of the upper right border. This poster is in "lesser" condition (what many dealers would describe as "good to very good" or "good", or in the case of items with more serious defects, which should be easily seen on our large images, "fair" or "poor")! Please remember that OUR "very good" grade is much more strict than almost all movie poster dealers, and many of these "lesser" condition posters might pass for "very good" from many other dealers! But it DOES have clear defects, which are likely to be very noticeable in our "large" or "super-sized" images that you can click on from our small image at right. Looking at our super-sized image will likely tell you right away whether it is in "good to very good", "good", "fair", or "poor" condition (if the item has significant defects that are difficult to see in our image, then we describe those in words elsewhere within the auction). Note that some of the older ones of these posters have tape repairs on the back, and we note more significant repairs, but we do not note just a few small pieces of tape on the back of a poster. PLEASE DO NOT USE WISHFUL THINKING WHEN LOOKING AT THE CONDITION OF THIS POSTER! It DOES have clear defects, and they may be such that you would not be happy with this item. These posters have defects typical of actual theater-used posters, and often have creases and smudges (especially around the edges of the poster) caused by the posters being handled by theater employees, and you can see the extent of the defects in this item by looking at our super-sized image. We know that some collectors could accept this item's defects, and display it as is, and we also know that many collectors would only be happy with this poster if they had it restored, so please do not bid on it unless you feel sure you can accept it as it is, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored. Of course, you should realize that if you do not bid on this poster because of its condition defects, it may be quite some time before you see this poster offered again! Because we had so many excellent condition half-sheets this week, we were extra harsh on our grading, and some of these "lesser" half-sheets just narrowly missed getting a "very good or better" condition grade. This poster is in "lesser" condition (what many dealers would describe as "good to very good" or "good", or in the case of items with more serious defects, which should be easily seen on our large images, "fair" or "poor")!
