An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Johnnie Walker was an actor from the 1910s to the 1930s. He became a star in 1920, when he played the "black sheep" son in William Fox's "Over the Hill". Some of his movies include: The Girl of the Gypsy Camp, Over the Hill to the Poorhouse, Old Ironsides, and So This Is Love? Note that the actor's name is the same as the popular Scotch Whiskey, but that had been around since the 1820s and does not appear to be connected to this actor in any way! He passed away in 1949 at the age of 55.
Important Added Info: Note that this still was consigned to us from an unusual collection. The owner had the names of the movies (sometimes the stars) and sometimes the date stenciled in the bottom border of many of his stills. We don't know why this was done, but the stencils are not much of a defect at all, because they are in the blank border, and they of course help identify the stills (which may have been why it was done in the first place!). Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm].

Condition: very good. The still has text stenciled in the bottom blank border . Otherwise, the still is in nice condition!
