In the 1940s, she worked for Universal and appeared in some of their horror movies! Some of her movies include: How Sweet It Is, The Lost Tribe, House of Frankenstein, and Rainbow Island. She is likely best remembered for her role as "Consuelo" on TV's "Marcus Welby, M.D." in the 1970s. She was married to Charles Marion, who was a writer at Universal in the 1940s. Verdugo passed away in 2017 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Elena Verdugo! Note that our consignor is a major horror collector who for 20 years has attended the major shows that are attended by celebrities who give autographs, including Chiller Theater, Fanex, and Monster Mania. He obtained this autograph in person at a show (we are also auctioning quite a few autographs from this same collection in separate auctions). Condition: very good to fine.
