Ico-D was founded in London in 1963 and is a non-profit, non-partisan organization and a "member-based network of independent organizations and stakeholders working within the multidisciplinary scope of design." Ico-D members include professional design organizations, design promotion bodies, design media, design education institutions and individuals with a vested interest in professional design.
