5 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Spooky Spooks, the 1925 Albert Herman silent haunted house horror slapstick comedy short (a great completely forgotten early silent comedy, where people are trapped in a haunted house owned by an Englishman, and they send for famous detective "Sherlock Bones", a parody of Sherlock Holmes, and there is everything you would expect to see in a haunted house, including men inside suits of armor, and a mummy that comes to life!) starring Jack Cooper (as Sherlock Bones; not to be mistaken for Jackie Cooper, the famous juvenile actor in the 1920s and 1930s! Jack Cooper was an English actor from the 1910s to the 1940s who worked in the U.S. and was featured in Hal Roach and Mack Sennett movies in the 1920s), and John J. Richardson. Note that "Jack Cooper" (not to be confused with child star Jackie Cooper) was an English born stage actor who came to America and appeared in over 100 comedy shorts (first with Fox Sunshine Comedies, and then a lot for Hal Roach and Mack Sennett). He continued having bit parts in sound comedies, but he retired in 1942, although he lived until 1970, when he passed away at the age of 80.
