An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 18 1/4" x 23 1/2" [46 x 60 cm]) (Learn More) U.S. Army in Action ("History of the United States Army"), the military war battle posters commemorating those that fought in different engagements throughout U.S. history, and featuring great artwork of battle scenes. Each poster measures 21" x 24", but there is an extra inch of information printed at the bottom of each poster which instructed owners to cut off this bottom inch to make 20" x 24" posters suitable for framing. The posters show classic battles in the history of the U.S. dating back to the Revolutionary War, but there are also three from battles in 1944 and 1945 during World War II. The posters are dated between 1953 and 1956, and we suspect they were first published at the end of World War II and then were reprinted many times. If anyone knows more about them, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: Hugh Charles McBarron Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 18 1/4" x 23 1/2" [46 x 60 cm]. Condition: good. The poster has slight discoloration scattered in some areas from exposure to moisture. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid.
