An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French Eight-Panel Movie Poster (8p; measures 117" x 155 1/2" [297 x 395 cm]; printed in 8 pieces) (Learn More)

Tusk, the 1980 Alejandro Jodorowsky French India elephant relationship melodrama (based on the novel by Reginald Campbell; about a British family living in India, and they own many elephants, and on the day that their daughter is born, an elephant is also born on the very same day, and the girl and the elephant grow up with a mystical bond between them) starring Cyrielle Clair, Anton Diffring, Christopher Mitchum, Serge Merlin, Michel Peyrelon, and Sukumar Anhana. Note that this was Jodorowsky's first movie after his 1970s classics, "El Topo" and "Holy Mountain", and it mystified everyone, including his fans! It is very slow moving, and does not have the same types of strange scenes seen in the earlier two movies, and it apparently received a very limited release (we have only auctioned one other movie paper item from the movie, and that is a very large French poster)!

Important Added Info: Note that this poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie, is extremely rare. Not only is it the only French poster we have ever auctioned from this movie, it is also the only poster of any kind we have ever auctioned from it. Also note that this French eight-panel measures 117" x 155 1/2" [297 x 395 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Finally, note that this French eight-panel was printed in 8 sections designed to overlap.
