The National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands (Nationaal Socialistische Beweging in Nederland or NSB) was a Dutch fascist and later national socialist political party which was founded in 1931 by Anton Mussert. As a parliamentary party participating in legislative elections, the NSB had some success during the 1930s. It remained the only legal party in the Netherlands during most of the Second World War. After the German signing of surrender in 1945, the NSB was outlawed. Mussert was arrested the following day and executed on May 7th, 1946.
