An Undated (probably 1950s) Re-Release Promotional Television Brochure (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]; 3 pages) (Learn More) The Thin Man, the 1957 - 1959 Oscar Rudolph television (TV) detective crime mystery comedy series (written by Dashiell Hammett) starring Peter Lawford (as Nick Charles), Phyllis Kirk (as Nora Charles), Asta II (a relative of the original Asta the Dog from the 1930s and 1940s movies), Jack Albertson, Patricia Donahue, and Marjorie Bennett. Note that this TV series was, of course, based on the hit movies of the 1930s and 1940s starring William Powell and Myrna Loy. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a cute "biography" of the dog, Asta, that was created as a promo that was sent to TV stations to try to get them to show this series (it was surely sent with other similar brochures, but this is all that is present).
