One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Pirate Treasure, the 1934 Ray Taylor seafaring action adventure serial ("12 Thrilling Chapters of Heart-Stopping Action!"; "Story by Ella O'Neill") starring Richard Talmadge, Lucille Lund, Walter Miller, Pat O'Malley, and William Desmond. Note that Richard Talmadge was born "Sylvester Alphonse Metz", and he was an acrobat with the Barnum and Bailey Circus. He got a job in Hollywood as a stuntman for Douglas Fairbanks Sr., and then graduated to starring in movies, always performing lots of stunts. He had two acrobat brothers, Otto Metzetti and Victor Metz, who appeared with him in some of his movies. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. We have never auctioned ANY one-sheets for this movie in all our years of auctioning. Condition: good. The poster has slight discoloration scattered in some areas from exposure to moisture (mainly along the center horizontal fold and at center) and there is some separation and paper loss in the lower crossfold.
