An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Shirley MacLaine is a legendary actress from the 1950s to the present. She is the sister of actor Warren Beatty. Some of her movies include: The Trouble with Harry, Turning Point (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), The Apartment, Being There, Irma La Douce (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), Some Came Running (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), and Terms Of Endearment (in her Best Actress Academy Award winning role) AND Bud Fraker was a photographer from the 1930s to the 1960s. In 1934 he began working part time as photographer at Columbia Pictures under his brother William A. Fraker Jr., who was the Department Head of Still Photography. Following the sudden death of his brother, Bud was promoted to Department Head of Still Photography. In 1942 he became Department Head of Still Photography at Paramount studios until the 1960s.
Important Added Info: Note that this is a very interesting photo, because it shows Miss MacLaine walking on a street with studio photographer Bud Fraker, and they were photographed by studio photographer Bill Avery! We don't know what movie they were shooting at this time, but we found an image on the Internet of Miss MacLaine wearing the same glasses and she was shot by Mr. Avery, and that still is dated 1955, so we imagine this is from the same time, which is when she first started in movies. Note that this still measures 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.

Condition: very good.
