Some of his movies include: The Vagabond King, All About Eve, and Reap The Wild Wind. He also played Hamlet three times on Broadway! Hampden passed away in 1955 at the age of 75. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Walter Hampden! It was sent to a man from the Hollywood who requested a signed photo from Mr. Hampden, and the winner of this auction not only gets the signed photo (which is on deluxe paper, and has an image from Cyrano de Bergerac), but they also get a second photo that Mr. Hampden apparently sent of him as Cardinal Wolsey, and the envelope that it was sent in (see our images). Note that our consignor obtained this signed photo from a lifelong collector of signed items. He does not have a "certificate of authenticity", but both he, and we, think it is surely authentic.
