An Original Vintage Folded World War II Poster (measures 21" x 22" [53 x 56 cm]) (Learn More)

The Officers Service Committee, the 1940s U.S. World War II (WWII) war poster ("Visit The Officers Service Committee Hotel Commodore, New York Theatres - Sports - Hotels - Clubs - Restaurants - and other Services") promoting a military officer relaxation resort to utilize during leaves and featuring Dan Osher art of a young woman holding a pair of tickets in front of an American Flag.
Artist: Dan Osher
Important Added Info: Note that this special poster is printed on a heavyweight paper stock like that used on window cards, but it measures 21" x 22".

Condition: good. The poster was folded once in each direction, and because it is a heavy stock, it separated in the left 8" of the horizontal fold and in the top 3" of the vertical fold, with 1" of separation in the right of the horizontal fold. There are creases and fine surface paper loss on both foldlines with slightly larger paper loss between the girl's nose and eye (see our image). There are some dot stains scattered in the image, more so around the edges. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored.
