An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) It's a Sick, Sick, Sick World, the 1965 Antonio Scarpati sexploitation "mondo" drugs-and-sex rape documentary ("Filmed in Rome, Paris, London, Germany and the United States"; an obvious title parody of the recently released 1965 movie "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World") featuring Lucky Kargo, Sammy Petrillo, Jackie Richards, Richard B. Shull, and narrated by Joel Holt. Note that this movie was one of the many, many "mondo" movies made in the years following the massive success of 1962's "Mondo Cane", which showed many strange and disturbing scenes from all over the world (in particular, Italy made many, many of these movies). Many of these showed burlesque theaters and strippers, but this movie went a step further, showing prostitutes and a scene of a man shooting heroin on a public street, and there were also nude scenes, and the movie was partially filmed in the U.S., but it also included scenes from other countries. Movie paper of any kind from this movie is incredibly rare! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!
