An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian Two-Panel (known in Italy as a "4 Fogli") Movie Poster (2p; measures 55" x 78") (Learn More) La Ciociara (released in the U.S. in 1962 as "Two Women"), the classic 1960 Vittorio De Sica French/Italian World War II (WWII) women-survivors-of-war-atrocities melodrama ("Suddenly... Love becomes lust... Innocence becomes shame... As two women are trapped by violent passion and unforgettable terror!"; based on the novel by Alberto Moravia) starring Sophia Loren (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; "Winner best actress award Cannes Film Festival 1961 for her performance in 'Two Women'"), Jean-Paul Belmondo, Raf Vallone, Eleanora Brown, and Carlo Ninchi NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this partially Italian movie! Also note that this Italian two-panel poster was printed in 2 sections (designed to overlap) and when combined, the poster measures 55" x 78". Condition: fair. The poster is separating on many foldlines, and one of the sections is entirely separated into several pieces. There is darkening, small tears, and tiny areas of paper loss on parts of some foldlines. The poster would greatly benefit from being linenbacked (but it is basically "all there", so it would require little paint restoration). Learn More about condition grades
