An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 13 1/4" x 17 1/2" [34 x 44 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Stamboul Quest, the 1934 Sam Wood Istanbul Turkey spy espionage romantic thriller melodrama ("!!!The most dangerous eyes on the continent!!!"; about a beautiful female German spy in World War I, who is in Turkey finding out secrets for the Kaiser; she meets an American medical student, and they fall in love, but she betrays him, which causes his death, and drives her insane, and she spends the movie in a mental institution, where she tells her story) starring Myrna Loy, George Brent, Lionel Atwill, C. Henry Gordon, and Rudolph Anders NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a really cool and wonderful still. It shows a fantastic candid image of the director and the crew filming Loy and Brent (with all the equipment around them). It measures 13 1/4" x 17 1/2" [34 x 44 cm], which was apparently too large for the paper stock they had, so it was printed on two separate 8 3/4" x 13 1/4" sheets, and then taped together from the back. It has a snipe and a photographer's credit on the back. We have seen a couple of "double" 8x10 stills that were like this, but we have never before seen a "double" over-sized deluxe still like this! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: good to very good. The still was folded down the middle where the two images were joined with tape from the back (see above). The top 1 1/2" were folded back as well (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
