Date Sold 4/2/2015Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Blonde Fever, the 1944 Richard Whorf romantic marital relationship melodrama ("Meet Gloria Grahame - She's gorgeous! She's dangerous!") starring Philip Dorn, Mary Astor, Felix Bressart, Gloria Grahame, and Marshall Thompson (billed as "Introducing Gloria Grahame and Marshall Thompson"). Note that Gloria Grahame had been in two tiny uncredited roles before this, so the studio was only slightly cheating in saying this movie was "introducing" her. After this starring role, she also stood out in a small role in "It's a Wonderful Life" two years later, and she later had a very eventful career, both on and off the screen! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this item (and others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from the estate of Lee Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a nationally recognized projectionist, film poster collector, and union activist who passed away earlier this year, and the net proceeds from the sale of his varied and eclectic collection will be donated to promote film studies at the Besant School of Happy Valley in Ojai, Ca. Condition: very good to fine. Note that this lobby card is in excellent condition and is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
