TWO Autographed 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" [6 x 8 cm] Cut Album Pages (each was glued to a board with a repro photo; see below) (Learn More) Mary Pickford was a Canadian actress from the 1900s to the 1930s. She was one of the top silent actresses, who specialized in playing young girl roles as an adult, and she was called "America's Sweetheart", and when she married Douglas Fairbanks, Sr., the country rejoiced (and the country mourned when they divorced!). Some of her movies include: Little Annie Rooney (in the title role), Sparrows, My Best Girl, Coquette (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role), and Tess of the Storm Country AND Marie Dressler was a Canadian actress from the 1910s until her death in 1934. She was born in 1868, and was on Broadway in her 20s, and in 1914, starred in "Tillie's Punctured Romance" over a very young Charlie Chaplin; but her career waned and she quit films a few years later returning to Broadway, and by the late 1920s, her career seemed over; but legendary producer Irving Thalberg cast her in "Anna Christie" in 1930, and she rapidly became a major star, in spite of her advanced age and plain face and appeared in many of MGM's greatest movies, as well as a series of very successful comedies; she received the Best Actress Oscar for Min and Bill in 1930, and is probably best remembered for her role in Dinner at Eight; sadly, she died of cancer in 1934. Some of her other movies include: The Patsy, Tugboat Annie, Emma (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), and The Girl Said No Important Added Info: Note that these cut album pages has been personally autographed (signed) by Mary Pickford and Marie Dressler.
