If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has "Metropolitan Films" as the distributor, and does NOT mention MGM. Normally, that would lead us to believe it is a re-release poster from the 1950s, but we have never seen an MGM Belgian poster from this title, and we know that Metropolitan was distributing movies in Belgium at this time. If anyone knows whether or not this poster is from the first Belgian release, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept the uncertainty as to whether this is from the first release or second release. Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 18 1/2" [36 x 47 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had a blank top that was partially trimmed off. It was folded across the middle and had some wear on that foldline. There were two numbers written in pen on the back of the poster, and they bleed through near the middle in the edge of Gardner's arm and body. There were pinholes in the bottom corners with a tape stain in the bottom right corner and paper loss in the bottom left blank corner. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
