An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much, the 1956 Alfred Hitchcock kidnapping spy espionage conspiracy crime thriller ("Alfred Hitchcock's greatest suspense Adventure!"; "The flash of a knife... the crash of cymbals! Cues for murder - excitement - suspense!"; "A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing!"; "Based on a story by Charles Bennett and D.B. Wyndham Lewis"; "Screenplay by John Michael Hayes") starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Doris Day, Brenda De Banzie, Bernard Miles, Ralph Truman, Daniel Gelin, Reggie Nalder, Richard Wattis, Alexis Bobrinskoy, and Christopher Olsen. Note that this is a re-make of Hitchcock's 1934 English film of the same name, but with quite a few differences and it includes Doris Day singing "Que Sera, Sera", which became a huge hit! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair to good. The poster is somewhat brittle and there is rippling and light staining throughout from exposure to moisture. There is paint on the back of the poster at lower right and left that very slightly bleeds through to the front in the background and title and credits area. There is a circular stain at lower right in the background and title area and there are some smudges and creases scattered throughout the poster. Overall, the poster would greatly benefit from professional restoration, after which it would look great (although I'm sure many collectors would be quite happy to own this poster as it is)!
