An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Yellow Lily, the 1928 Alexander Korda silent social class European royalty romantic melodrama (about a Hungarian archduke who falls in love with a commoner, and at first, she spurns him, because he is reported to be a playboy and he could never marry a commoner anyway, but everything ends up working out, and the emperor gives a special dispensation that lets them marry) starring Billie Dove, Clive Brook, Gustav von Seyffertitz, Marc McDermott and Nocholas Soussanin NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fair. There are many stains and scuffs scattered in the faces of both stars, with some scattered through the rest of the slide. They are not that noticeable when you look at the slide itself, but when you look at the image magnified, they are incredibly noticeable (see our super-sized image).
