It's the truly great Jean Arthur hit you knew you'd see some day - happy, sparkling, clever, with a new kind of romance, a new kind of people, a brand-new idea! .. . If you liked Jean before [Do you know anyone who didn't?], you'll love her in this brilliant, different show from the director of 'Kitty Foyle' and the author of 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith'."; about a department store owner who poses as one of his own workers) starring Jean Arthur (in the title role as Mary Jones), Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), Charles Coburn (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Edmund Gwenn, Spring Byington, S.Z. Sakall, Walter Kingsford, William Demarest, and Boots the German Shepherd dog NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: This is one of the crazier candid stills we have ever seen! Somehow they convinced Jean Arthur and Bob Cummings to wear dog collars and bathing suits, and then pose with Boots the German Shepherd dog, who is also in this movie. It also seems odd that "Pat, another canine film star" is in the left of the still, but Pat is clearly not participating in the joke. The snipe mentions that Miss Arthur owns six "mongrel dogs" in her private life. Note that this still measures 10 1/4" x 13" [26 x 33 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
