So they staged it in the clouds... Too beautiful for words... So they set it to music!"; "Come, take a joy ride through the sky!"; "Romance that soars on the wings of song") starring Dolores Del Rio, Gene Raymond, Paul Roulien, Ginger Rogers, Fred Astaire, and Blanche Friderici. Note that this was the first of the ten movies Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers made together, which explains why they were fourth and fifth billed, and not pictured on any poster art! Also note that this movie was made at a time when Hollywood had a "love affair" with South America in general, and Brazil (and Rio de Janeiro). Paul Roulien was a Brazilian singer who came to Hollywood in 1931, and he sang in several movies. In this movie, he was part of a romantic love triangle with Dolores Del Rio and Gene Raymond, and it was his best role. In 1934, he returned to Brazil and quit acting in 1938.
