An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; contains 18 supplements, and 36 stills that measure from 5 3/4" x 6 1/2" to 9" x 13") (Learn More) Deliverance, the classic 1972 John Boorman (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) river-men-on-weekend-canoe-trip-meet-beastial-mountain-men-who-do-unspeakable-things thriller ("This is the weekend they didn't play golf"; "What did happen on the Cahulawassee River?"; "Where does the camping trip end... and the nightmare begin...?"; "Screenplay by James Dickey Based on his Novel"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Jon Voight, Burt Reynolds, Ned Beatty, Ronny Cox, Herbert 'Cowboy' Coward (as the "Toothless Man"), Hoyt Pollard (as the boy at the gas station who plays the banjo), and James Dickey (in a memorable cameo as the sheriff at the end of the movie) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that normally with presskits we only photograph the cover of the presskit and up to eight of the stills (if there are 8 or fewer than we picture them all, but if there are more than 8 we only picture 8). But because this is a really rare and great presskit, we have pictured ALL of the stills, plus the front of each of the supplements! When this movie was released, the stills were not all 8x10. Many were unusual sizes. This presskit includes 6 that range from 4 1/2" x 13 1/2" to 9" x 13 1/2" (with one that is 9 1/2" x 11 1/2"), and those have wonderful images, mostly montages, that we have never seen before! The others are mostly close to 8" x 10" but there is one that is 6" x 6 1/2" (see our images of all of the stills). Condition: very good to fine. The six oversized stills have slight wear around the edges (because they stuck out of the folder). The other stills are in really nice condition as is the folder and the supplements.
