An Unfolded Swiss Advertising Poster (measures 35 1/2" x 50 1/4" [90 x 128 cm]) (Learn More) Sunlight is a brand of household soap introduced by the British company Lever Brothers in 1884. It was the world's first packaged, branded laundry soap, and was designed for washing clothes and general household use. William Lever and his brother James Darcy Lever invested in a new soap invention and its initial success came from offering bars of cut, wrapped, and branded soap. This was an early labor-saving device for the housewife as prior to this, commercially made soap was bought in long bars. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. There is one tape repair on the lower edge of the poster but overall it is in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
