An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Patrick Sullivan was an Australian-American cartoonist, pioneer animator, and film producer from the 1910s to the 1930s. He is likely best known for producing the first Felix the Cat silent cartoons. Felix the Cat was created in 1919 by Pat Sullivan and/or Otto Messmer (there is some controversy about who deserves the credit). Sullivan passed away in 1933 at the age of 47. Condition: good to very good. There is pencil writing on the back of the top center, which caused light indentations on the front of that area, but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light.
