Eastern: Walt Disney World, the circa 1971 airplane airline aviation travel poster promoting travel to Walt Disney World aboard Eastern Airlines ("Fly Eastern - Your wings to the family vacation Kingdom"; "Eastern - The official airline of Walt Disney World") and featuring colorful art of Mickey Mouse against a backdrop of attractions in Walt Disney World including Cinderella's Castle, the Hall of Presidents, the Haunted Mansion, the monorail system, and the Contemporary Resort! Walt Disney World opened in October of 1971, and we feel certain this poster dates from either that time or early 1972. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. There were many creases and tears in the upper left corner, extending into the first letters of the words, and there is a tear extending down into the top left of the image. There are many other creases and tears around the edges, with tiny paper loss in the bottom right corner. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was simply backed onto a thin linen, but that has minimized how noticeable the creases and tears are, and the poster displays pretty well, although you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
