Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Note that the story this movie was based on was written by Earl Derr Biggers, who created the character "Charlie Chan", who first appeared on the screen months after this movie was shown! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but otherwise it is in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
