An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) Macbeth, the 1948 Orson Welles epic tragedy ("A notable motion picture achievement!"; based on the classic play by William Shakespeare) starring Orson Welles (in the title role as MacBeth), Jeanette Nolan (billed as "introducing Jeanette Nolan"; as Lady Macbeth), Dan O'Herlihy (as Macduff), Roddy McDowall (as Malcolm), Edgar Barrier (as Banquo), Alan Napier, and John Dierkes NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this key book still had an extra 1" at the top border with punch holes, which was attached with a perforated linen-like material (someone removed that extra 1" and only part of the linen strip remains). Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. Sometimes key book stills simply had an extra 1" added, with a perforated linen material, as this one does, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic. Condition: fair to good. The top 1" of the still was removed (see above) and the still was folded down the center at a slight diagonal. Learn More about condition grades
